Nana Patekar Opens Up On His Elder Son’s Demise: ‘I Thought About What People Would Think’
Speaking to Lallantop, Nana Patekar talked about his elder son’s demise and said that he never thought what his son Durvasa was feeling

Nana Patekar is one of the most versatile actors in the industry. He has many times impressed fans with his acting skills. However, recently, Nana Patekar was seen opening up about his elder son’s demise and said that he never thought what his son Durvasa was feeling. To note, he died when he was two and a half years old.

Talking to Lallantop, Nana Patekar said, “My eldest son was sick since birth. He had some complications. He had trouble in one eye, it wasn’t visible. I felt so disgusted that when I saw him, I thought about what people would think, what kind of son Nana has. I didn’t think about what he felt or how he felt. I only thought about what people would think about my son. His name was Durvasa. He spent two and a half years with us. But what can you do, some things happen in life.”

However, he recently also talked about Tanushree Dutta who had accused him of sexual harassment. The actress claimed he misbehaved with her during the shoot of a song for the 2008 film Horn Ok Pleassss. Nana had denied the claims at the time. In a recent interview, Nana addressed the claims yet again and said he isn’t angry with turn of events.

“I knew that it was all a lie. That’s why I didn’t get angry. When everything was a lie, why should I be angry? And all those things are old. They have happened. What can we talk about them? Everyone knew the truth. What could I say at that time when nothing like this happened? Suddenly, someone says that you did this, you did that. What would I have answered to all these things? Should I have said that I didn’t do this? I know the truth that I didn’t do anything,” Nana Patekar told The Lallantop.

On the professional front, the actor was part of Vivek Agnihotri’s thought-provoking drama ‘The Vaccine War’ last year, where he delivered a compelling performance. Additionally, he graced the Marathi film industry with his presence in ‘Ole Aale’, a movie that resonated well with audiences and performed impressively at the box office.
