Has anybody ever asked you the question about your inspiration in life? Many people would have asked and answered this question too. Movies - besides being the prime source of entertainment - are also a great source of inspiration in one's life. So, here is a list of the movies that can touch the 'Inspired' button of your system and take you on an inspirational ride.

Lakshya

Most of us see ourselves as unemployed, unworthy and without a goal in life. It is fine to be unsure but doing nothing about it is not good. That's the story of out-of-college drifter 'Karan' (Hrithik Roshan) from the movie Lakshya who joins the army on impulse but must face up to its challenges to prove himself to the woman he loves, Preity Zinta, 'Romila'. He starts from being an aimless, spoiled kid and jumps every hurdle that comes his way to finally become a brave battlefield soldier.

Taare Zameen Par

Aamir Khan’s directorial debut is a flawless inspirational film that tells us that each one of us has our own unique signature style and we shouldn’t push ourselves or our children to follow the herd. Darsheel Safary as 'Ishaan Awasthi' in the movie Taare Zameen Par is shown as a 10-year-old dyslexic boy who enlightens us all by showing if he can do it, everybody can. A kid who has trouble reading and writing, with some help was able to do as good as normal kids. So, step out of your comfort zones and plunder your fears, only then you will be able to get rid of them. Not facing the difficulties will only make them bigger. Kick them out and realise your true potentials. Everybody is special in their own way, go after your speciality. Stand out from the crowd.

Wake Up Sid

Wake Up Sid displays Ranbir Kapoor as 'Siddharth' aka 'Sid', a spoiled brat who paid little heed to his career and family. Despite his irresponsibility and negligence, he figures out his passion in life. Heartily moving towards his passion for photography, the lazy kid grew into a talented photographer. He had a different approach to life which did not match his dad's and that happens in our real lives too when children are not able to choose their careers as per their interests. The moment where 'Sid' gets his first paycheck pays testimony to the importance of turning your passion into your career.

3 idiots

Embedded with fun, comedy, 'an engineering college drama' and love for passion in life "3 Idiots" is directed, edited and co-written by Rajkumar Hirani and produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. Inspired by Chetan Bhagat's novel "Five Point Someone", the movie says it loud and clear - "Make your passion your profession and success will follow." It is only when you involve your brain and heart in your work that you actually start enjoying it. And, unless you enjoy it, there's no point investing so much time and energy into something that you don't even like. As Aamir Khan, 'Baba Ranchoddas' correctly says in 3 Idiots - “Jis kaam me mazaa aaye, usei apna profession banao, phir kaam kaam nahin khel lagega."

English Vinglish

We all have certain insecurities in life which we are embarrassed about.
