Kichcha Sudeepa BREAKS Silence on Mom's Death, Reveals Her Last Text to Him: 'Wanted to Call Her But...'

Kichcha Sudeepa opened up about his mother, Saroja Sanjeev’s sudden death and everything that transpired before it. The actor admitted he is findher ing it difficult to come to terms with demise and seemingly hinted at a regret that will linger on for the rest of his life. The actor revealed that his mother would send him a good morning message every day. The last time she did was on October 18 and that was one of the rare moments wherein Sudeepa did not have the chance to reply to her.

“Every morning, the 1st buzz on my phone would be here text, around 5:30 am Wishing me, ‘Good morning kanda’. I received her last text on Friday, 18th October. I didn’t see her text the next day when I woke up while at BB. 1st time in so many years. I did send her my morning text and wanted to call and enquire if everything was OK. Discussions of BB’s Saturday episode took away all the time, and just before I went onto the stage, I got a call saying she was hospitalized,” he shared.

“I immediately called my sister who was at the hospital, spoke to the doctors, and went on to the stage. A little later, when I was on stage, a message was passed on to my people that she was critical. This helplessness is something I experienced for the first time. Here, I am handling Saturday’s episode; dealing with several issues, and a fear in mind about my mother. If I yet sailed through that episode shoot with calm, I owe it to my mother for having taught me how to stay with the job I had accepted amidst all the chaos. A principle to be precise,” Sudeepa added.

“I rushed to the hospital after Saturday’s episode shoot, and my mother was put on to a ventilator minutes before I reached. I couldn’t see my mother while she was still conscious. She did put up a fight before she gave in on Sunday early morning. Everything, just about everything changed in just a few hours.

I don’t know how to undo this. I don’t know how to accept this reality, that has hit us. My mother, the one who gave me such a tight hug before I left for the shoot, was no more within the next few hours. It’s a hard-hitting truth that will take its own time to penetrate into our minds and hearts,” the Kannada star confessed.

He lauded his mother. “My mother was a great soul, and I will miss her. I for sure know yesterday, being an auspicious day was nature’s and God’s choice to take her from this earth.” Sudeepa also expressed his gratitude towards those who are standing by him during this tough period.
