Almost five years after the critical and commercial success of Todd Phillips-directed Joker, Warner Bros has finally dropped the much-awaited teaser trailer for the film’s sequel, Joker: Folie à Deux. Bringing back the chaotic character of Arthur Fleck aka the Joker, the trailer gives a glimpse into the aftermath of the chaos that he created in the first film. Besides that, the film also features Lady Gaga, accompanying Joker as his ladylove, Harley Quinn.
The official teaser trailer has created a frenzy among fans, leaving them absolutely stunned by the direction and Joaquin Phoenix’s performance. However, the trailer has also given birth to several theories regarding the possible events in the upcoming film. As the film majorly delves deeper into the relationship of Joker and Harley Quinn, fans are left wondering if the two will get married in Joker 2.
Joker and Harley Quinn to get married?
Keeping in view a particular scene that shows Arthur and Harley on the stage and later Harley walking down a lit runway towards a set of a chapel, it is not clear whether the scene was a dream sequence or the wedding will be taking place for real. However, the scene clearly teases that their relationship will go to the next level.

In case makers go against the odds of the comics where their relationship has rarely touched the topic of marriage, it will be interesting to see how things unfold, especially considering their twisted romance, a lot of which takes place inside Arkham Asylum and later on the streets of Manhattan.

The film will hit theatres on 14 October 2024.
