Genelia Deshmukh's 'Goofy' Birthday Post For Siddharth Screams Friendship Goals
"Here’s to another year of hardly being in touch but whenever we meet there’s no stopping our goofy side," Genelia Deshmukh wrote.

Siddharth Suryanarayan, known popularly by his mononym Siddharth, is celebrating his 45th birthday today. The actor has left no stone unturned to impress audiences with his impeccable performances in critically acclaimed films like Bommarillu, Jigarthanda, Striker, Oh My Friend and Rang De Basanti among others. Today wishes from colleagues are pouring in. The latest one to join the bandwagon was actress Genelia Deshmukh.

Taking to Instagram Stories, the actress shared a super cute video featuring her and Siddharth and wrote, “Happy Birthday dearest @worldofsiddharth Here’s to another year of hardly being in touch but whenever we meet there’s no stopping our goofy side.”

In the video, Genelia and Siddharth could be seen sitting next to each other at what seems like a party and recording their fun time on camera.

Siddharth made his acting debut in the year 2003 with the coming-of-age comedy film Boys, in which he starred alongside Genelia in lead roles. Additionally, they both appeared together in the critically acclaimed film Bommarillu, released in 2006.

In other news, Siddharth and Bollywood actress Aditi Rao Hydari recently made headlines with the announcement of their engagement, dispelling rumours of a secret marriage between the two.

A few days back, Aditi posted a picture with Siddharth and captioned it, “He said yes E.N.G.A.G.E.D.” In the snapshot, the duo held each other close as the Padmaavat actress flaunted her diamond ring. Siddharth, on the other hand, sported a gold ring.

The confirmation of the couple’s engagement left fans thrilled, especially since Siddharth and Aditi Rao Hydari had previously kept their relationship status private. Reportedly, their love blossomed on the sets of their 2021 film Maha Samudram.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Siddharth was last seen in the crime drama film Chittha. He will be next seen in director Shankar’s much-awaited film Indian 2 which also stars Kamal Haasan in the lead roles.
