Director Mallidi Vassishta is currently making headlines with his upcoming Telugu fantasy film, Vishwambhara. It stars Chiranjeevi, Trisha Krishnan, Meenakshi Chaudhary, and Ashika Ranganath in important roles. The film got unstoppable hype with just the pre-look poster.
Vassishta is directing the film to make the audience feel the same while watching the film Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari, which was released three decades ago. The makers are making all-out efforts to release it by the next Makar Sankranti.
The director recently spoke about his upcoming project. Vassishta said that set high expectations for the film to be a hit at the box office. He further added that the Sankranti is ours, as the makers are planning for its release in January 2025. The megastar fans are all over the place, so the hype for the film is high.

The producers of the film, UV Creations, released the poster for the film on Chiranjeevi’s birthday. Sharing the poster, UV Creation wrote, “When darkness and evil take over the world, a Magnanimous Star shall shine bright to fight. Happy birthday, MEGASTAR @KChiruTweets. Let the world witness your aura with #Vishwambhara. Get ready for a MEGA MASS BEYOND UNIVERSE, In cinemas from January 10th, 2025.”
The new poster reads, “Where myths collide legends rise.” Chiranjeevi is seen seated on a rock and holding a trident with special powers. Behind him in the poster is a hill with a golden light.
Vishwambhara is the second film by the director after his debut in 2022 with the film Bimbisara. The film was initially announced under the tentative title Mega 156 in 2023. The film is produced by Vikram, Vamsi, and Pramod under the banner of UV Creations. MM Keeravaani is working on the music, while cinematography is done by Chota K Naidu. Vishwambhara is set to release in theatres on January 10, 2025, on the occasion of Sankranti. The film is edited by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao.
