Priyamani is one of the sought-after actresses across India. She is already a popular name in the South film industry. After her meaty role in Raj and DK’s thriller series titled The Family Man, she quickly gained recognition and fame in the northern belt of the country and became a renowned pan-India actress. Priyamani now charges in crores, but can you guess what her first salary was? She marked her entry into the entertainment realm with the Telugu movie, Evare Atagaadu in 2003. Her first movie earned her immense appreciation from viewers and critics. In the following year, she marked her debut in Tamil and Malayalam industry with Kangalal Kaidhu Sei and Satyam respectively. In an interview, Priyamani once opened up about her first salary. When asked about one thing that nobody knew about her, she said, “My first earning was just Rs 500 and I treasure it preciously.” In the same interview, she also expressed her one true desire and that was to sing in any of her movies in the future. Apart from this, one of her unfulfilled wishes is to act in a movie minus the makeup.

As per reports, she was given Rs 80 lakh for the series. Soon, she starred in one of the blockbuster movies of 2023, opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Atlee’s Jawan. She demanded Rs 2 crore for her role in this high-octane action thriller movie. Jawan also starred Deepika Padukone, Sanya Malhotra, Nayanthara and Sanjay Dutt.

Looks like 2024 is going to be a busy year for Priyamani. She starred in Bhamakalapam 2, which had an underwhelming performance at the box office. Next, she starred in Article 370 directed by Aditya Suhas Jambhale. The political action thriller has received positive reviews from the audience and critics with few pointing out the release of the movie before elections. She was last seen in a sports drama titled Maidaan opposite Ajay Devgn. The movie hit the theatres on April 10. As per reports, she demanded Rs 2 crore for the movie.
