Varun Dhawan has often expressed his love for action movies, and now, his dream of playing an action hero has come true. After finishing the Citadel series, Varun Dhawan joined forces with Atlee Kumar and Murad Khetani to create an electrifying action entertainer called Baby John. Now, the actor has taken to his social media handle to recall a day from the shoot.

Varun took to his Instagram handle and shared photos of himself standing atop a crate with a bloodied forehead in a Baby John sweatshirt. He captioned the post, “#BABYJOHN -day 70. Filming relentlessly till the sun didn’t rise and then also our unit kept going. One of the hardest shoots I’ve been on #grind.”

Titled Baby John, the highly anticipated film is set to release on May 31, 2024. The film will also star Keerthy Suresh and Wamiqa Gabbi in key roles. The high-octane action entertainer is being helmed by A. Kaleeswaran.

A collaboration between some of the most creative forces in the Indian film industry, Baby John promises audiences an extravagant cinematic experience. The action entertainer is set to captivate cine-goers with its gripping storyline, powerful performances, and high-octane action sequences.

The film marks the Hindi film debut of Keerthy Suresh and also features Wamiqa Gabbi, who is making her silver screen debut. The electrifying star cast also includes Jacky Shroff and Rajpal Yadav in the action entertainer. Baby John is an S. Thaman musical.

Besides Atlee, the film is produced by Murad Khetani, Priya Atlee, and Jyoti Deshpande. The project is also presented by Jio Studios in association with A for Apple Studios and Cine1 Studios. The highly-anticipated Baby John is all set to be released in cinemas on May 31 this year.
