Blackout Teaser: Vikrant Massey Set To Entertain Audience In This Heist Comedy
The film is set to premier on the OTT platform JioCinema on June 7.

Vikrant Massey, after 12th Fail’s immense success, is returning to the big screens with another promising film titled Blackout. The makers have released the official teaser of the upcoming film, featuring the lead cast. Blackout promises a fun-filled, adventurous ride. The protagonist (played by Vikrant Massey) stumbles upon something which could change his entire life. The 1-minute-teaser was released on the official YouTube channel of JioCinema, the OTT platform where the film is set to premiere. The clip starts with a dark, rainy night with an aerial shot of a car. As the car reaches an intersection, it collides with a van and the car driver is revealed to be Vikrant Massey. The tripped van lies right in the middle of the road, with no sign of life or movement. Vikrant’s character then comes out to inspect the scene, only to find riches and money at the van’s back and two, likely dead men.

All the while, a voice is heard, seemingly talking to Vikrant’s character. It says, “Main samay hoon aur aaj main yeh batane aaya hoon ki tumhara waqt badalne wala hai (I am time and I am here to tell you that your time is about to change)." The voice can be recognised as that of actor Anil Kapoor.

The incident is followed by violence filled shots, featuring the other cast members like Mouni Roy and Sunil Grover in unseen avatars. It then shows a very excited and crazed Vikrant, shouting the lyrics of SRK’s superhit single, Badshah O Badshah.

The film is set to premier on the OTT platform JioCinema on June 7. It is directed and written by Devang Shashin Bhavsar. The cast of the film includes Vikrant Massey, Mouni Roy, Sunil Grover, Saurabh Ghadge and Karan Sonawane. It is produced by Jyoti Deshpande and Niraj Kothari.

The lead of the film, Vikrant Massey also shared the teaser on his official Instagram handle. He shared the caption, “Samay Samay ki baat hai, dekhte hai yeh raat ka badshah koun hai (The talk is all about time, let’s see who is the king of this night)."
