Bigg Boss 17 Grand Finale: Ankita Lokhande has been evicted from Bigg Boss 17. After entertaining the audience on Salman Khan’s popular reality show for months, Ankita left the show as a Top 4th contestant on Sunday, January 28. The other finalists on the show were Munawar Faruqui, Abhishek Kumar, Mannara Chopra, and Arun Mahashetty.
Ankita’s eviction came as a shock to everyone, especially her husband Vicky Jain and Salman Khan. Vicky had tears in his eyes as Ankita got evicted. Ankita said that she didn’t know what to say. The actress then said that she was happy since her mother was standing next to her.
Ankita later told Salman, “Mujhe laga that mujhe badi problem logi agar main jaldi nikal jaati hoon.” Ankita added that she felt “okay” due to her mother’s presence. Salman Khan also expressed his shock at her eviction and said that he thought Ankita would win the show. “I am shocked. I thought you would become the winner. I am shocked that you are not. I don’t know what has happened that you have come out of the house. The whole team is shocked,” he told Ankita.
The actress constantly made headlines throughout her journey owing to the dynamics of her relationships – whether with her husband Vicky Jain, Vicky’s mother, or even her ex-boyfriend Sushant Singh Rajput.
The clashes between Vicky Jain and Ankita Lokhande started in the second week when the actress expressed feeling emotionally neglected by her businessman husband. Their relationship often took a sour turn, leading to multiple heated arguments. These conflicts took an emotional toll on Ankita, especially after Vicky’s mother entered the house. However, later on, the show, Vicky apologised to her for his behaviour. He went to his knee and said he didn’t realise earlier that his behaviour was wrong. Ankita and Vicky’s performance on ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’ highlighted the highs and lows of their marriage on the show.
Ankita Lokhande was often seen candidly discussing her ex-boyfriend, late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, in the Bigg Boss house. In a media interaction on the show, Ankita emphasised that she didn’t bring up Sushant to seek sympathy. Instead, she stated that she spoke about the positive aspects of his personality with a sense of pride. Despite these hurdles, Ankita managed to win the audience’s hearts.
