There is hardly a soul who has not heard about The Great Khali. The veteran wrestler needs no introduction. Dalip Singh Rana aka The Great Khali is still known as one of the most famous wrestlers in the world. Khali has been a renowned personality in India since his WWE debut in 2006. This 7’2″ wrestler later went on to grab the title of WWE’s World Heavyweight Champion.
For years, people have wondered what The Great Khali eats to maintain that physique. So, in a recent Instagram post, Khali responded to everyone’s queries by revealing his daily diet. Let us listen to what he has to say.
“I eat seasonal fruits like apples and pears, eggs, bread, maida, and chicken,” he can be heard saying in the video. Khali had a strict diet and workout plan as a professional wrestler, which helped him perform well in the ring and become a WWE force.
Previously, in another video, the professional wrestler explained that he always makes sure his diet is “protein-rich.”
Khali mentioned in the video that he consumes eggs and figs, both of which are high in protein and beneficial to one’s health. He also advised those eating eggs that we should only eat the white and not the yellow part (yolk), which contains cholesterol.
In an interview with The Indian Express earlier, the former wrestler revealed that his diet consists of chicken, eggs, rice, and dal – a healthy mix of carbohydrates, fats, proteins, and fibre. Khali also recommended these to other aspiring wrestlers. “Nowadays, because of unhealthy eating habits, we see people’s health deteriorating. To avoid that, we should be conscious of what we are eating. Also, I don’t believe in taking shortcuts to achieve a certain level of fitness. To build a good body, you need to put in the time and effort. It is not something you can do overnight; there is no shortcut,” he said in the interview.
