Shveta Salve, who welcomed her baby daughter Arya on August 10, this year, took to her Instagram account and shared a powerful message on motherhood and body image. She posted the message along with a picture in which she has combined two photos - one during her pregnancy and the other post delivery of her baby girl.
She describes this journey as a reflection of the miracle of life. She stresses on the fact that though a woman's body is magical, "it only achieves its true form of praise after this transformation."
She doesn't shy away from saying that no part of her body - arms, thighs, breasts or her hips - are same as before but she also highlights the importance of a healthy lifestyle in helping to regain the original self. She asks her fellow mothers and mother-to-be ladies to be proud of themselves.
