GHMC Commissioner M T Krishna Babu inspected roads identified for COP-11 from Gagan Pahad near Shamshabad International Airport to Hyderabad Convention Centre. Post the inspection, he said, works pertaining to COP-11, which have been sanctioned already should start in the next five days.
The Gagan Pahad, Shamshabad Airport, Sarojini Devi Eye Hospital, Mehiditpatnam to Masab Tank flyover, Nagarjuna junction, Road No.1 Banjara Hills, Shilparamam, Hitech City and Novotel Hotel are among the ones listed.
He instructed officials to take up curbing of footpaths with concrete, to cover the gaps between footpath streches, to take up plantation on the either side of the road by planting. He also directed the engineering officials to maintain footpaths in a uniform look both sides up till Masab Tank fly over.
He also pointed out a lot of electric poles and transformers that are occupying on the footpaths and directed the officials to coordinate with APCPDCL officials to shift them to a proper place by not obstructing the footpaths.
He also inspected the formation of drain works which are being taken up near Shilparamam to Hitec City and directed officials to expedite works speedily.
