It is the first day of the Navratri and we are sure most of your friends are busy enjoying their no garlic, no onion food. While you all can join them for the interesting vrat food items prepared of ingredients such as kuttu atta, singhara atta, vegetables, yogurt and milk, here’s an interesting dish that you can relish too.
We get you the recipe of the one of the most popular dish at Planet Hollywood Resort, Goa.
Ingredients
Onion: 30 Gms
Celery: 15 Gms
Leeks: 15 Gms
Garlic: 10 Gms
Refined oil: 1000 Ml
Broccoli: 120 Gms
Mozzarella cheese: 100 Gms
Salt: 10 Gms
Pepper: 5 Gms
Refined flour: 100 Gms
Japanese panko crumbs: 250 Gms
Fresh bread crumbs: 100 Gms
Mash potato: 60 Gms
Method
Step 1: Cut broccoli in to florets, blanch them and drain surplus water.
Step 2: Chop it finely and keep.
Step 3: Chop onion, garlic, celery and leeks.
Step 4: In pan heat oil, add onion, garlic, celery, leeks and sauté.
Step 5: Add broccoli to it and sauté until the moisture evaporates.
Step 6: Then add the mashed potato to it and mix thoroughly.
Step 7: Add seasoning and fresh bread crumbs to it. Let it cool.
Step 8: Make crumbing batter with refined flour, salt, pepper and water to pouring consistency.
Step 9: Shape the broccoli in to small gallets, dip in batter and crumb it with panko crumbs.
Step 10: Heat oil in a pan; fry the shaped gallets until golden brown.
Step 11: Remove and drain the surplus oil with paper towel and serve hot with tomato salsa
