Days after announcing her plans to launch a beauty line, Lindsay Lohan has offered up a first glimpse at her new project.
The actress has taken to Instagram to share some packaging sketches with her 6.3 million followers, revealing that her debut collection will feature a powder, concealer, eyeshadow and lipstick. The star has come up with some slightly futuristic-looking square casing for the makeup series, as well as an interlinked ‘LL' logo (that she has noted could also serve as a clasp on the lipstick casing).
It also looks as though the business venture could be a family affair, with the "Mean Girls" star tagging her sister Aliana, brother Dakota and mother Dina in the posts.
Lohan first revealed that she has been secretly working on a "lipstick and beauty line" during an appearance on "The Wendy Williams Show" earlier this month. The concept is the latest in a long list of side projects for the star, who also revealed on the show that she owns a club in Athens (and is preparing to launch a nightspot in Mykonos this summer), and is in talks to design her own island in Dubai.
In launching her own makeup collection, Lohan is following in some very famous footsteps. Over the past year, the list of celebrities signing up for beauty collaborations or launching their own brands has included supermodel Gigi Hadid, popstar Rihanna, reality TV star Kim Kardashian and fashion designer and former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham.
