The USD 2 million prize money WSH is a joint initiative of Nimbus and the Indian Hockey Federation.
Mumbai: World Series Hockey, which commenced on Wednesday, has roped in Vodafone and Seagram's Imperial Blue as sponsors of the event featuring eight franchise teams and 59 matches.
"I am delighted to welcome Vodafone and Imperial Blue to our sponsor family. The response to the inaugural Bridgestone World Series Hockey has been quite spectacular from our fans and commercial partners," said Yannick Colaco, COO of Nimbus Sport.
