World Malayalee Council awards

KOCHI: To encourage entrepreneurial activities among Malayalees, World Malayalee Council(WMC) will distribute awards to successful businessmen in Kerala.The awards will be distributed in a function organised at Gokulam Convention Center, Kochi, on Sunday.The awards promise to acknowledge the best and most dynamic individuals and organisations in the state.The WMC has selected 11 people for their first Federal Bank Kerala Business Award 2011.The awards will be given to M G George, Muthoot Group, Captain Krishnan Nair, Leela group, M P Ramachandran, Jyothy Labs, Gokulam Gopalan, Gokulam Group, Joy Alukkas, Joyalukkas, Abdul Azeez, Skyline Group, Kochouseph Chittilappily, V Guard, V P Nadakumar, Manappuram Group, C K Menon, Behzad Group, E M Najeeb, Air Travels Enterprises, Beena Kannan, Seemati.Special awards will be given to playback singer K J Yesudas, T K A Nair and Dr K M Cherian
