Truck owners to block road

MYSORE: Mysore City Local Lorry Owners Association will block the Mysore-Bangalore highway and other roads to protest against the government’s failure to meet their demands.Association president Kodandaram said the lorry owners had been on strike for the past 18 days and had staged a dharna in front of the Deputy Commissioner’s office. However, the administration had failed to respond to their pleas.He said lorry owners, employees and representatives of other organisations will block Mysore-T Narsipur road and Mysore-Hunsur road on Monday at 10 am.
