HYDERABAD: Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) and the TJAC were getting ready for a faceoff with TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu, who is touring Karimnagar district on Tuesday as part of his last leg of rytu porubata.TJAC chairman Prof M Kodandaram has already warned that they would not allow Naidu to tour in the Telangana region till he makes his stand clear on statehood to Telangana, Kodandaram declared.Notwithstanding these threats, Naidu has decided to tour Karimnagar on Tuesday and Warangal on January 6. The TDP chief has already covered seven Telangana districts during his rytu porubata. Meanwhile TDP Telangana leaders observed that only a handful of proTelangana agitators were creating trouble and there was very good response to Naidu's tour in the Telangana districts. "There will be no obstruction to Naidu in Karimnagar on Tuesday," a senior TDP leader exuded confidence. "Kodandaram is an educated person. He should not instigate the agitators to attack Naidu who is touring the region to know ryots' problems," TDP senior leader T Devender Goud said.''Kodandaram became a 'chaprasi' for the TRS and protecting the ruling Congress which hoodwinked the people of Telangana,'' he alleged. TDP sources also alleged that the TRS and TJAC leaders had met several times to chalk out plans on how to obstruct Naidu's tour.
