As per his account, he came outside his house when he heard the dogs barking continuously and saw an animal, which resembled a tiger. He alerted the neighbours and the officials concerned. They at once came and took stock of the situation.Though the officials from the wild life division of Forestry College inspected the site where the footprints of the animal were seen, they reiterated that those were not of a tiger. “  We told the residents that there was no reason to panic. Namir, Head of the Department, Wild Life Division, Forestry College, has also checked the footprints and said that those were not of a tiger.
