Three surrender in workers murder case

PUDUCHERRY: Three anti-social elements suspected to be involved in the murder of head load worker Jagadeesan on April 21 surrendered before the police here on Tuesday.According to police, Jayakumar (27), Vicky @Vigneswar (24), both from Muthialpet, and Vadivel @ Vetrivel (25) from Uravayuru near Villianur surrendered at the Mangalam police station. The three were arrested and produced before the court.Shakthivel,  the key suspect in the case, was undergoing treatment at the Government General Hospital after being shot following his lobbing of country-made bombs at the police when they tried to nab him early on Tuesday.
