There was a mild tension at Visalandhra meeting at Lalitha Kala Samithi hall here on Sunday with Rayalaseema Parirakshana Samithi women’s wing convener P Rajeswari and youth wing convener Sreenivas Naik trying to disrupt the meeting by raising slogans against Visalandhra.
The police on knowing about the incident rushed to the spot and took the protestors into custody. Later the meeting continued as usual.
Visalandra Mahasabha president Parakala Prabhakar said that Visalandhra Mahasabhalu would be held in all regions of the state. Visalandhra secretary C Narasimharao and others were present.
