THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A high-level delegation from Government of Nagaland visited Technopark on Friday. The visit was with the objective of replicating the Kerala Model of IT development by establishing IT Parks in Nagaland and to explore possible ways of association with Technopark and Technopark TBI.Nagaland is planning to establish a Technology Business Incubator to spot and nurture the IT developments in that state with the support of Technopark TBI. The delegation consisting of Vikho-o Yhoshu, Advisor to the Chief Minister, IT&C, K T Sukhalu, Secretary, IT&C, held discussions with Technopark officials. The Nagaland team held discussions with T Balakrishnan, Additional Chief Secretary, Govt of Kerala. ‘‘We will offer all help from Kerala IT and Technopark to develop the IT Park and a Technology Business Incubator in Nagaland,’’ said Mervin Alexander, CEO-Technopark and Chairman, T-TBI."We came to visit Technopark with great hopes to learn from the leader in the IT arena. The visit will enable us to efficiently design our IT Park and Technology Business Incubator,’’ said Sukhalu.The officials also visited the Kerala State IT Mission and held discussions with Ishita Roy, Director- IT Mission. An interactive session with some successful technology companies from T-TBI was also organised. The delegates also visited the Infosys Campus to study about their green buildings.
