CHANGANASSERY: Chief Minister Oommen Chandy said on Saturday that the Syro-Malabar Church has contributed immensely to the growth of the different sections of the society.Inaugurating the valedictory function of the year-long celebrations to mark the 125th year of the Archdiocese of Changanassery at the St Mary’s Metropolitan Church, he said that the church has been a vital part of the socio-religious stratum of the society.
