Security guard held for stealing

THRISSUR: A security officer at the Guruvayur temple was arrested for stealing money that was offered at the steps to the sanctum sanctorum on Saturday.The security officers caught K Sivadas red-handed while picking up Rs 5000 offered by a devotee to the Lord. The security officers alerted the police when they noticed Sivadas picking up the cash through the closed circuit television.They rushed to the spot and captured the secutiry oficer. Sivadas is under custody for further probe, the police said.
