Security agency owner injured in Mumbai Film City firing, Amitabh Bachchan stood just a few feet away

Mumbai: A private security agency owner was allegedly shot at by some motorcycle-borne riders on Friday afternoon at Mumbai's Film City just a few feet away from where Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan was shooting for a film.

The agency owner Raju Shinde has been critically injured in the attack. Mumbai Police said Raju Shinde was rushed to hospital after he was shot at in the stomach and arm. The men fired three rounds at Shinde.

"The 1873 - Okay !! Shooting at Film City .. and a gang war shootout 20 feet from where we are ... !!," tweeted Amitabh Bachchan.

Veteran actor Alok Nath also took to Twitter saying, "Actual, real shooting at filmcity next to our set. One man critically injured rushed to hospital."

Fateh Singh Patil, Additional Commissioner of Police, Mumbai confirmed that only one person had been injured in the firing at Film City.

Police are investigating the matter and trying to nab the shooters..
