SBTs 1,000th branch opened in Palakkad

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: State Bank of Travancore’s 1000th office in Palakkad was opened in an e-way by Pratip Chaudhari, Chairman, State Bank Group, on Saturday.The Chairman performed the e-opening of the Palakkad ‘Gold Point’ branch of the bank at a function held in the Head Office here. The branch, under the Thrissur Zone, is the 15th ‘Gold Point’ branch of the bank, which handles gold loans exclusively.Shyamal Acharya, Deputy Managing Director & Group Executive (A&S), State Bank of India and P Nandakumaran, Managing Director, SBT, were present, among others, on the occasion.
