New Delhi: The newly unveiled Samsung Galaxy S III will hit Indian shores in the month of June. "The Galaxy S III will be launched in India in June," said Samsung's spokesperson, adding, "it will be launched very soon in India after its debut in Europe on May 29."
After this statement from a Samsung official, we can anticipate that the phone will hit the Indian market in the first week of June.
However, the company has not yet revealed any price details, but if reports are to be believed, the Galaxy S III will be available for around Rs 35,000.
The phone features a 4.8 inch HD Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It has an 8 megapixel rear camera with flash and zero shutter lag and a 1.9 megapixel front camera, which are believed to offer users a wide variety of camera features and face recognition related options.
Weighing 133g, the phone is only 8.6 mm thick. The Samsung Galaxy S III runs Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich, operating system. The new Galaxy is powered by Samsung's quad-core microprocessor.
The phone will come in three models - 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. Its connectivity options include WiFi a/b/g/n, NFC and Bluetooth 4.0(LE).
The phone is engineered with a plethora of interesting and innovative features.
