SABARIMALA: The heavy rush of pilgrims for darsan of Lord Ayyappa continued for the second day on Saturday. Pilgrims were forced to stand in long queue for eight to ten hours on the trekking path and at the Nadpandal for the darsan.The sufferings of the pilgrims, especially for the aged, women and children, on the trekking path between Marakoottam and Saramkuthi continued.Lack of supply of drinking water for the pilgrims stranded in the queue caused severe hardships.MEDICAL CAMP FOR SSS VOLUNTEERS: The three-day medical camp for the volunteers under the Sabarimala Sanitation Society began at Sannidhanam Government Hospital on Saturday.
