Raman Singh fighting Naxals while Cong making back-door deals with them, says Modi
Kickstarting the first out of his five rallies slated for Thursday in poll-bound Chattisgarh, Narendra Modi launched an all-out attack on Congress, especially 'Madam' (Sonia Gandhi) and 'Shehzada' (Rahul Gandhi), accusing them of being an expert in making empty promises, cheating people of Chhattisgarh and making back-door agreements with Naxal forces.

"There has been Maoist threats but my adivasi (tribal) brothers and sisters haven't been deterred from casting their vote in the first phase, 70% people voted in the first phase of polling and by that, they have shown their faith in democracy," said Narendra Modi while addressing crucial tribal votebank in Bemetra district.

He lauded the BSF jawans for laying down their lives to protect democracy and requested the Election commission to "put a special chapter on the website that lists those who gave up their lives defending democracy". His comments were in reference to the widespread Naxal attacks in the form of landmine blasts, explosions and gunfiring during the first phase of state assembly elections on November 11.

Hitting out at Congress for allegedly cheating the people of Chhattisgarh, he said that people of Chhattisgarh (Chhattisgarhi) were unfortunately standing opposite dhokadhadi of Congress (fraud).

"Are you standing here holding a beggar bowl? Do you not have your pride? They insult the people of Chhattisgarh, this country wont accept this ahankaar (arrogance)," he told his supporters.

He further attacked Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi for repeatedly advocating during their rallies in the poll-bound state that they have spent crores of money in Chhattisgarh.  " Have you brought the money from your mama's (uncle's) home? It is the people's money," he said.

Asking BJP the reason for not disclosing the name of their CM candidate yet, he said "The Congress party is cheating you. Everyone is asking only one question, who is the Congress' CM candidate? Conduct sting operation or ask them privately and they will name Ajit Jogi. We named Raman Singh as our CM candidate publicly, what is their problem, why hide," he said.

He further went on to accuse the Congress party of making back-door deals with Naxals and attributed the credit of all the development work in Chhattisgarh only and only to Raman Singh-led BJP government.

"Ask the Congressmen whether their government gives free food to the states where they rule? Why fool people here then? Is there a single Congress ruled state where every village receives electricity for 24 hours? But in every BJP ruled state, you will find 24-hour electricity supply. Poor are not considered human by them. Poor are just used as pawns for vote," he said.

Taking on Congress' opinion to ban pre-election poll surveys, he said his rivals are "just scared and they know that the country has decided BJP will form govt at Centre in 2014, that is why they want a ban on opinion polls".

The BJP's PM candidate is set to deliver speeches in another four rallies on Thursday, as a part of his campaign for 2014 general elections.
