A quo-warranto writ petition questioning the appointment of A Navaneethakrishnan as Advocate-General of the Madras High Court was dismissed by a division bench.
The bench held that Navaneethakrishnan had satisfied the eligibility conditions as contemplated in the Constitution for appointment as AG. There was no merit in the quo-warranto, the bench added and dismissed it.
