New Delhi: The Delhi Police on Saturday requested the Malaysian authorities to deport the prime accused in the Bangkok blast case, who is an Iranian national named Seda Ghat Zadeh Masoud.
Masoud has been detained in Malaysia.
Meanwhile in Delhi, a court asked the police to present the records of the interrogation of Mohammad Ahmed Qazmi, one of the accused in the attack on an Israeli Embassy car in the capital earlier in February, in which an Israeli diplomat was hurt.
The court also asked the police to file a reply on why the special branch personnel did not wear uniform during interrogation of Qazmi after his lawyer moved court alleging that Qazmi was tortured and that he was being questioned by agencies apart from the Delhi Police.
Jahan Ara, Qazmi's wife, said, "My son and daughter are in Dubai. So they have sent me the money. We don't have links with any terrorists... The Police is making false claims... They are torturing him."
