New Delhi: The Pune bus driver who went berserk on the city roads has now been admitted to a mental hospital.
Santosh Mane, the driver with the state transport department went on a rampage earlier this week killing nine persons and injuring 28 others. Mane has been kept under observation at the Regional Mental Hospital in Yerwada on the recommendation of doctors.
He was taken to the hospital on Saturday, after police applied to the Judicial Magistrate for suspension of his police custody, and got the permission.
