Prime Minister Narendra Modi was welcomed by First Lady Melania and President Donald Trump at the White House. After that the two leaders had delegation level talks and later the two held a joint press meet. Modi and Trump spoke on fighting terrorism and improving trade ties after their first meeting at the White House, which was marked by warmth and bonhomie between the two leaders.
