HYDERABAD: The government has constituted a district-level committee with the district collector, SP, DMHO, social welfare officer and child and woman development officer to identify the beneficiaries for assistance to civilian victims of terrorism, and communal and Naxalite violence.The government has instructed all the district collectors to see that the scheme is communicated to the families of victims of terrorist/ communal violence in case of incidents occurred on or after April 2008 and, in respect of Naxalite violence, on or after June 22, 2009.Eligible claimants will get financial assistance from the central government.Claimants should file their claims in the prescribed pro forma within three years of the relevant incident in their district concerned, according to an official release.
