Pakistan violates ceasefire in Poonch district
Indian troops guarding the border retaliated which resulted in a 20 minute gunbattle.

Poonch: Pakistani troops on Thursday yet again violated the ceasefire by firing on Indian posts along the Line of Control in Poonch district.

Pakistani troops opened fire on Indian posts in Krishnaghati at around 6.30 pm on Thursday. Indian troops guarding the border retaliated with the same caliber weaponry, which resulted in a 20 minute gunbattle. No injury or deaths have been reported in the incident so far.

Over 150 incidents of ceasefire violations have been reported so far. Meanwhile, the operations in Keran have been continuing for 11 days.
