KOCHI: The staff of the Shree Sudheendra Medical Mission Hospital, who undertook an agitation seeking various demands, withdrew from the protest after the management agreed to address their grievances.The entire staff of the hospital went on a token strike on Wednesday pressing for various demands. A hike in salary, eight hours duty for nurses and more allowances were some of the demands put forward by the staff. The protest was undertaken under the aegis of Kerala State Private Hospitals Federation. Federation convenor Bijeesh said that the decision to call off from the strike was taken after talks were held with the management. He said that the management had agreed to implement all the demands immediately.
