HYDERABAD: MLA and suspended TDP leader Nagam Janardhan Reddy staged a dharna before the Assembly speaker's chamber on Monday with a demand to accept his resignation as an MLA. As the speaker was not available, Nagam proceeded to Saifabad police station to lodge a complaint that the speaker went missing. With the police denying mediamen entry into the police station along with him, Nagam pasted a petition on the wall of the police station and left. Despite repeated efforts he did not know where the speaker was, he said. TDP rebel MLA K Harishwar Reddy accused the TDP chief N Chandrababu of trying to cause a split in the Telangana stir.
