Police on Wednesday could not find Alpesh Shah, former joint secretary of Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association and convener of its selection committee for Women Under-19 team, who has been accused of sexual harassment by a young woman cricketer.
"We are looking for Shah seriously but so far he is untraceable," Superintendent of Police OP Tripathi told reporters. Shah was not co-operating with the probe, and if he did not appear before the police, reward would be announced for information about his whereabouts, Tripathi added.
The woman cricketer has alleged that he behaved in an objectionable way with her after asking her to meet him at Holkar Stadium in Indore on September 23. FIR has been lodged against Shah under Section 354 (outraging modesty of woman) of the Indian Penal Code.
