Match report: Daredevils win thriller by nine runs

What a match! This was the first close game of IPL II. Twenty20 at its best. Daredevils was set up by a whirlwind 105 not out by AB de Villiers to reach a mammoth 189. But the Super Kings gave a fitting reply with Matthew Hayden hammering a blazing 57. The Super Kings reached their hundred in the ninth over and looked all set for a fantastic win. But Daredevils, thanks to some resolute bowling and tight fielding, held their nerves. Chennai, in the end, fell short by nine runs. Delhi register two wins in two games and Chennai have lost two in their three games played.
