The Naxal leader further said that the government should stop all attempt to gather intelligence about the Maoist.
Bhubaneswar: Sabyasachi Panda, the leader of Maoists in Kandhamal in Orissa, has condemned the abduction of Biju Janata Dal (BJD) MLA Jhina Hikaka and killing of police officer, calling it a political game.
The Naxal leader further said that the government should stop all attempt to gather intelligence about the Maoist, including deployment of unmanned aircraft over Kandhamal.
He further tried to distance himself from the abduction of the MLA and killing of the policeman, blaming another committee for the same.
"The declaration of ceasefire was a decision of the state committee, those who have abducted the MLA or killed police officer and violated ceasefire, it is the responsibility of that committee not ours," said Panda.
