A minor Dalit girl studying in class nine was allegedly raped in the backyard of her house by a labourer at Teetarvarda, 25 km away from Dausa district headquarters, police said on Thursday.
The 20-year-old accused, belonging to Uttar Pradesh, was arrested this morning from the area, Circle Officer of Dausa police Rajendra Singh said.
The incident occurred on Wednesday when the 14-year-old girl was going home from school.
The girl was admitted to a hospital in her village by parents and the police recorded her statement there.
