Himanshu Srivastava moved an application before Chief Judicial Magistrate Narendra Bahadur for registering a case against Hazare. In the application, he alleged during Hazare's visit for his "Jantatra Yatra" last month, the flag on the vehicle, used by him, had violated rules laid down for it.
The CJM had sought a report from police in this regard by August seven. A team of local lawyers also met the Superintendent of Police in Jaunpur on Saturday and demanded lodging of a case against Hazare.
