Mumbai: The latest episode of the popular chat show 'Koffee With Karan' had Bollywood's young guns, Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor sipping a hot cup of 'koffee' with host Karan Johar.
While the mood of the show was mostly light, Arjun Kapoor spoke very candidly about the hardships that he has gone through in his life. Arjun, the son of producer Boney Kapoor spoke about how he and sister had to deal with their parents separation at an early stage in their life and how their mother, late Mona Kapoor struggled to give them a secured life, financially and emotionally.
Arjun also spoke about his step-mother, actress Sridevi when Karan asked him how his current quation with actress. "My mother taught me to be respectful to everybody. She allowed me have a separated equation with everybody including her," said Arjun .
"Of course, the dynamics are complicated. We'll never be normal, like they show in the movies. But I am respectful towards her. She is my father's wife. And he is happy with her so that's important and we'll deal with it. You have to deal with it as it comes," added the 'Ishaqzaade' actor.
The show had Ranveer and Arjun Kapoor literally bringing the house down with their antics and Arjun stated, how he hates Deepika for taking away Ranveer from him, tongue firmly in cheek.
