Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir DGP on Thursday ordered an inquiry on state Director Inspector General of Police Shakeel Beig's pictures showing abuse of power. The photographs which were posted by the DIG's son have gone viral.
In one of the pictures, a man was seen helping DIG Shakeel Beig put on his shoes. In another photograph, an armed security man was acting as the caddie while the DIG's son was playing golf.
A third picture showed a man holding an umbrella for DIG Beig.
The DIG's son described the pictures as the perks of power.
