HYDERABAD: Income-tax officials raided the offices of Ind Barath group, whose main promoter is K Raghuramakrishna Raju, a close relative of a Rajya Sabha member and key lieutenant of the late chief minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy.Following the raid, Raju is understood to have declared an undisclosed income of `50 crore. Sources told Express that IT officials conducted raids on the offices and residences of Raju on Wednesday and seized incriminating documents. They also found `12 lakh in cash which was not accounted for. The IT officials also found several discrepancies in the documents of the company which is likely to lead to further disclosures. Ind Barath Infra owns two biomass power plants (20 MW and 25 MW) in Tamil Nadu, one (6.5 MW) in Andhra Pradesh, a 100-MW gas-based plant in Tamil Nadu and a 5-MW hydro-power plant in Himachal Pradesh.
