Investiture ceremony at Navy Children School

KOCHI: The 26th investiture ceremony of the Navy Children School Kochi was held at Sagarika, Naval Base on Tuesday. Rear Admiral Sudarshan Shrikhande, Chief of Staff, Southern Naval Command, and chairman of the Navy Children School was the chief guest. He installed the Head Boy Anmol Somanchi, Head Girl Shubangi Swaroop and other appointees of the school.In his address the Admiral emphasised that leadership and democracy are the need of the hour for national progress. Principal Narayanikutty welcomed the gathering and vice principal Joy Xaviar administered the oath to the leaders. Dhara Shrikhande, NWWA Education Co-ordinator Southern Region, Captain S R Sridhar, vice chairman of the school, Commander Simon Xaviar, director, Navy Children School were also present.
