Indian wrestler wins bronze at Asiad

Doha: Woman discus thrower Krishna Punia and freestyle wrestler Alka Tomar got bronze medals at the Asian Games here on Monday.

Punia, who created a personal best of 61.53m, finished behind Chinese grapplers gold medallist Song Aimin, who also created her personal best of 63.52m, and silver medallist Ma Xuejun (62.43).

In women's 55kg freestyle wrestling, Alka defeated Su Lihui of China 3-1 in the bronze medal bout.
