CHENNAI: Indian Bank inaugurated two ATMs at Pulianthope and Stanley Medical College and a renovated branch at Harbour area today. Both ATMs are off site with no branch attached, whereas the Harbour branch has a new coin vending machine.The newly renovated branch has more space to accommodate customers, and has Core Banking Service facility as well. The on-site ATM at the Harbour has four machines to ensure that no customer is kept waiting.Speaking to Express about the newly installed coin vending machine, General Manager, Chennai North, Indian Bank, Janardhan, said, “It has been kept for the convenience of the customers. When the machine is fed with rupee notes, it will return one, two and five rupee coins.” This vending machine is found in other branches of Indian Bank as well.Speaking at the event, the Chairman and Managing Director of Indian Bank, P M Bhasin, said, “The bank has been awarded Best Public Sector bank under the asset quality category and the Best Risk Master award by FICCI. We hope to achieve greater heights to help our customers.”Executive Directors of Indian Bank V Rama Gopal and Rajeev Rishi were also present at the function.
