PUDUCHERRUY: A court in Tindivanam on Friday adjourned hearing of the impersonation case against Puducherry Education Minister P M L Kalyanasundaram to November 25 after he failed to appear before the court.Judicial Magistrate Prakash adjourned the case as the minister’s counsel Jagadessan contended that Kalyanasundaram had to be excused as he had to go out of station for an urgent personal work. The case, filed by Villupuram crime branch, seeks to direct the minister to cooperate in the impersonation case inquiry by providing samples of his signature and handwriting.Ever since the Madras High Court rejected his anticipatory bail plea, the minister has not been traceable and the Villupuram police have been searching for him. The minister is apparently planning to seek anticipatory bail from the Apex Court, sources said.
